I always imagine that weddings are one of the fondest memories that a couple will carry with them throughout their lives. But while this is one of Sarah + Chris’ biggest memories, it’s also one of ours, too.

Sarah + Chris’ wedding was a milestone for us in many ways – our first breakfast wedding, our first wedding in Maine, and our 100th wedding. Not to mention, that right after it, we drove down the coast and made our first trip to Martha’s Vineyard. (Martha’s Vineyard, ILY.) Milestones aside, this wedding left a lasting impression on me. It made me realize that these epic memories our couples are making for themselves on their wedding days are also memories I’m making in my own life. It’s an awesome thing to be a part of a memory of something as pure and joyful as a wedding day. And Sarah + Chris’ wedding day? It was as good as it gets.

A 7am start time at both Sarah & Chris’ childhood homes meant for loads of gorgeous natural light. During their ceremony, Sarah + Chris shared emotional vows and received a personal sermon by a close family friend, Pastor Nate. The afternoon was a low key gathering with a coffee cart, donuts, and brunch before the couple drove off in a vintage Jeep wrangler. We had the most fun capturing this Spring Hill wedding alongside our new friends, The Sprauges, and re-connecting with our former birdhouse couple, Amy + Alex, who sent Sarah + Chris our way. I’ll never forget this weekend because of the wonderful people we shared it with and the sweetest impression it’s left on my heart.
