On the morning of Samantha + Armin’s wedding, I remember walking into The Liberty Warehouse to find Sam sitting quietly in a big open room, having her hair done. In the room adjacent, staff was setting up for the party that night with calm collection. Even outside, Brooklyn seemed to just be waking up.

For a city wedding, you never imagine walking into this kind of quiet. The magic of it all swept me up and set the stage for what would be an emotional, intentional day.

Samantha + Armin’s Liberty Warehouse Wedding was our first Persian wedding experience, and hopefully, not our last. The sun set throughout their entire ceremony, creating incredible photo ops of Sam + Armin and lady liberty off in the distance. While we were running around constantly adjusting our ISOs, the changing natural light made for an incredible display of bokeh in the backgrounds that so perfectly complimented the personal, emotional vows these two shared. Samantha + Armin are two of the sweetest, most genuine people we have ever met and we are so grateful they chose us to document this journey alongside the ever inspiring, Spencer Lum.
