I don’t think I’ve ever crossed my fingers about booking a wedding quite as much as I did for Gina & Tim’s. For starters, since a kid, I’ve talked about nothing but moving to Vermont and living in a little, woodsy mountain home and working for myself. Half of that has already come true, so getting the chance to capture a beautiful wedding in Vermont was a chance to cross off an item at the top of my dream weddings list. And then there’s Gina & Tim. From the moment we first chatted about remodeling our old homes, to our love of dogs and snowboarding and family, I knew they were going to be a breeze to capture. Though their day was unexpectedly soaked with rain and their ceremony (with no backup plan) was moved to the only option possible – under the bride at The Hermitage – their wedding day was the essence of what marriages are all about – making it through the unexpected together. Gina & Tim’s rainy, Hermitage Inn Vermont wedding was a cinematic dream and because of this, we chose to edit it in a widescreen format. Words can’t describe my love for this wedding experience and these two (and their families – just wait until you see Gina’s father daughter dance… utterly moving), so we’ll let the film do the talking.
