Time and time again, we have said that music & music loving people are some of our very favorite things. When Tara first reached out to me about capturing her wedding to Andy last year and sent back an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper filled with musicians and artists they loved, I knew it was meant to be. These kids and their big day are the kind of people and celebrations that make you instantly feel like part of the family. Tara and Andy live in Pittsburgh and decided to hold their nuptials at Omni Bedford Springs, a dog friendly resort nestled in the mountains of Western PA with an air of old Americana. We had the privilege of capturing two beautiful, intimate weddings here last year and they have turned out to be some of our favorite works (and couples) to date.
One of our most popular package additions is a Full Ceremony Film. To us, ceremonies are without a doubt the reason for the day and although we tie much of the climactic ceremony moments into our wedding films, we feel it’s also important to have a natural, edited film of the ceremony just as it was, especially if your wedding is as personal as Tara & Andy’s. From the music that set the scene to the roles played by family and friends who surrounded them underneath the chuppah, Tara & Andy created a ceremony that was true to their relationship in every facet and, in my opinion, carried more weight in meaning than any other ceremony I’ve ever witnessed. It was a true melding of families and one that I’ll never forget. Mark and I were truly honored to be a part of this utterly perfect wedding day. So, for the very first time, please enjoy not only Tara & Andy’s Omni Bedford wedding film, but their ceremony film, as well:
