MJ & Dave’s May 2012 Liberty House wedding was our second time filming at the restaurant venue Jersey City. We had such a blast capturing Kristen & Leor’s evening, fall wedding there the year before, but it was awesome to come back and capture a wedding while it was still light out — and at a different spot in the venue, too! Mark & I had fun exploring the new spaces and available light (that entryway made for some dramatic portraits) and MJ & Dave made our jobs so relaxed and easy. They’re one of those couples that exude charm – and those are our favorite kind of people, for more reasons than one. The sun shone bright during their ceremony and set softly during cocktails, as Dexter Lake Club Band set the mood with calm, acoustic tunes. At dinner time, the guests shuffled inside and let loose on the dance floor as the band turned it up a notch. Late night left room for s’mores on the back patio and cozying up to views of a bright, manhattan skyline. Needless to say, our second visit to Liberty House was just as memorable as our first and we have an amazing couple and venue to thank for that!
