Take one look at Christine + Joe and you’ll see they’re living proof that soulmates exist. Seriously. Before you even get to know them, they just look meant to be together – know what I mean? And here’s one more: Christine + Joe met on Match.com. So, wait. Those dating sites aren’t totally hokey? Nope. Wait. You CAN find your soulmate online?! YES! To top it all off, they met each other during the “Free Trial” period, so they’ll be the first to tell you, they feel a little silly since they never even had to pay Match a dime… but hey, they paid homage to the site in their wedding details, so consider things even. Christine is, without a doubt, one of our most creative brides to date. The amount of energy and detail she & Joe put into every aspect of their wedding blew us away. When Miranda & I arrived to Emory Grove the morning of their autumn wedding, we were captivated by the laid back, old-timey feel of the campsite. Then, as we stepped inside the main house and made our way to each of the cottages, we were totally in awe of all of the handcrafted details – signs, pennants, wands, bells, photo displays – all of which fit so seamlessly with the space. Emory Grove reminded me so much of Wes Anderson’s “Moonrise Kingdom” so I decided to give this film a special treatment in the intro.
